EGR OFF
Carbon-fouled EGR valves are one of the most common causes of limp mode and power loss on diesel engines. We deactivate the exhaust gas recirculation on the software side — cleanly, without residue, without fault codes.
Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) routes exhaust gases back into the intake tract. Over time, the valve and intake manifold coke up — the result is limp mode, rough idle, power loss and expensive repairs that tend to repeat themselves.
With the software-side EGR deactivation, the system is shut down completely in the engine control unit: no valve actuation, no plausibility errors, no OBD entries. The map is adapted accordingly so the engine runs cleanly.
Complete shutdown
EGR valve, cooler bypass and associated diagnostic paths are deactivated consistently — no more limp mode.
No fault codes
All relevant OBD test paths are adapted so no fault codes are stored.
Map adaptation included
Injection and boost pressure are tuned to the changed gas flow.
Optional: mechanical blanking
On request, with EGR blanking plates for a permanently sealed intake tract.
