Crackle and burble on the overrun — as a subtle crackle map or a full-on motorsport setup. Individually dosed, tuned with thermal responsibility.
Pop & bang (also known as a crackle or burble map) shifts ignition timing and injection on the overrun so that fuel burns in a controlled way in the exhaust tract — the signature crackle and burble when you lift off the throttle.
We tune the intensity individually: from a subtle trailing note to a pronounced motorsport sound. We keep a close eye on exhaust gas temperatures and component protection — a constant fireworks display at the expense of turbo and manifold is not something we do.
Three intensity levels
Soft (subtle), Sport (clearly audible) and Race (maximum) — drive-mode dependent on request.
Component protection
Exhaust gas temperature monitoring and limited activation windows protect turbo and catalytic converter.
Drive-mode linking
Activation only in Sport/Race mode, for example — in Comfort mode the vehicle stays quiet.
Combinable
Ideal together with a Stage 1/2 optimization or valve-controlled exhaust mapping.
